Cardinal to enhance our China service with new office in Nanjing
We’re thrilled to announce that we are opening a new office in Nanjing, China.
This new office will be led by Claire Li who brings with her a team of seven colleagues managing a portfolio of approximately 4,000 TEU, largely destined for the United States.
We plan to expand the team by 5–10 people and transfer select operational functions from Shanghai to Nanjing. This shift will provide improved service to exporters based in the region and enhance our services across China as a whole.
Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, is a key economic and logistics hub in eastern China. Strategically located along the Yangtze River, Nanjing serves as a major inland port and has robust rail and road connections to Shanghai, Suzhou, and the wider Yangtze River Delta. It supports the export of electronics, automotive parts, chemicals, machinery, and textiles, while also playing a growing role in China’s domestic consumption economy.
Its proximity to major manufacturing zones and access to high-capacity transport infrastructure make Nanjing an increasingly attractive alternative to coastal logistics centres, especially as companies seek diversified and cost-effective supply chain solutions.
If you’d like to know more about how our Nanjing operation can support your supply chain, please get in touch with a member of the team today.
