The Carbon Calculator is now available

Bringing CO2 Transparency to your Supply Chain.

In line with COP26 taking place, we thought it would be a good time to announce that, in a move towards creating a more sustainable logistics industry, our Carbon Calculator is now available to all our clients, free of charge on the Leda platform.

The Carbon Calculator shows the output of CO2 for each shipment made with Cardinal. We calculate this by measuring the origin and destination, types of transport used and size and weight of the shipment. Carbon is then validated based on Clean Cargo Working Group (CCWG) Verification.

We hope to raise awareness of the impact that we each have on the planet, and we want to work with our clients to create solutions to reduce the impact and offset the carbon produced so that we can create a more sustainable industry and help to save the planet.

Cardinal is working to reduce our own carbon output and have partnered with Planet Mark to measure our footprint. We are also working to offset any remaining carbon in a move towards being Carbon Neutral.
